About us
Our bar in Berkhamsted is situated on the High Street of this beautiful market town, and is just 2 and a half miles from the brewery.
The bar features a cosy upstairs lounge, the central bar space, and a secret garden perfect for summer alfresco drinking and dining and hosting live music events.
Alongside the 14 beers on tap, the bar supplies ciders, wines and spirits, and has fridges and shelves of bottles and cans to choose from.
We serve an extensive selection of Mad Squirrel beers on tap and in cans, all brewed locally in Potten End. Chose from the established favourites in our Core Range or explore the Occasional and Limited Release beers that are continually on rotation. There’s always something new in, so there’s always a reason to visit!
Can’t get to the taproom? Then you can also order beer online for delivery to your home.

As good as the beer is, it’s certainly not all about the beer!
We have a fully stocked bar serving ciders, wines, spirits, cocktails and soft drinks.
And try out our food. We offer a selection of freshly made, hand rolled, made to order pizzas.
Note that the kitchen is open Thursday - Sunday (closed on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays)
